YVONNE “BONNIE” SEELY
Yvonne (Bonnie) Bergeron Seely, 81, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 12, 2009. Bonnie was born and raised in Berkeley.
In 1950, Bonnie married Willis Seely, who passed away in 2004. She is survived by her sons, Peter and Bruce (Kristen) Seely, brother Lynn (Linda) Bergeron and sister Jean Hittell.
Bonnie’s brother, Joe Bergeron predeceased her.
She was a member of the Women’s Board of the Oakland Art Museum and an enthusiastic volunteer for the Museum’s White Elephant Sale for over 45 years.
Bonnie, a life-enhancer of the first order, will always be remembered for her warmth, grace, and extraordinary sense of humor.
