Wilma Sealy

96, of Scottsdale AZ passed away on November 2, 2011. Born Wilma Mae Hay on Nov 18, 1914 in Centralia, KS. She grew up in Atchison, KS and graduated from Atchison High School in 1932. She moved to Kansas City, MO where she worked as a secretary for Pontiac Motor Division. She married Lymond Sealy May 30, 1952 and their two daughters were born in 1953 and 1955. In 1963 the family moved to Chicago where she was a devoted mother and housewife. Upon suffering a total hip replacement, she moved to Scottsdale AZ in 2001 where she resided at Sunrise Assisted Living. Wilma led the breast cancer survivor parade this year at the Susan B Komen Race for the Cure in Phoenix. She died of natural causes at Sherman Hospice Home. Wilma is survived by her first daughter Karen DeMoss of Scottsdale and her two granddaughters Amber Jarosz and Kristen Dearing as well as her new great-granddaughter Tiphanie Dearing. Her second daughter, Dr Linda Sealy, of Nashville TN along with her two granddaughters Emily and Mary Chalkley and her grandson Matthew Chalkley will always treasure her memory. A memorial service will be held on Nov 20, 2011 at 3pm at Scottsdale Bible Church chapel in Scottsdale. Cremation by Angels Mortuary in Mesa. Burial at a later date in her family plot at Centralia, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix.
