Willis D. Seely
Word was received here last week of the death of Willis D. Seely, 60, Chicago Park, California, former Edinburgh and Nashville resident. Seely died Friday, Nov. 28, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral service and cremation were conducted Tuesday at Chicago Park.
Seely who was employed by Blue River Feeds in Edinburgh and later was salesman for Harvestore, was born Dec. 31, 1909, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Seely, at Huntington, Indiana. He lived in Edinburgh for 16 years before the family moved to Nashville where he owned and operated the One Step Cleaners.
He was a former member of the Edinburgh United Methodist Church and of the Edinburgh Lions Club.
Survivors include the wife, Donna Sweet Seely; two children, Diana Greller of Nashville and David Seeley of Chicago Park and two grandchildren.
