William (Wig) Seely

William (Wig) Seely, 71, of Vincent died suddenly at his work as custodian of the Vincent High School at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was born in Barlow Township on Feb. 26, 1889, and was a son of the late George and Sarah Ormiston Seely.  On Nov. 3, 1917, he married Anna Snail who survives with two sons, Raymond Seely of the home and Harold Seely of Lemoore, Calif. There is one granddaughter, Mrs. Gaye Gentry of Canton.  One sister survives, Mrs. May Gorham of Vincent.

Mr. Seely was a veteran of World War I.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Vincent Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Letherstrom officiating.  Burial will be in Barlow Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Doudna & McClure Funeral Home until one hour before the service when the body will be taken to the church.
