Wellington W. Seeley

CADILLAC – Wellington W. Seeley of Cadillac, died Tuesday, June 27, 1995 at his home. He was 84. Mr. Seeley was born October 3, 1910 in Cadillac, the son of George and Maude (Hood) Seeley. He married Ida Johnson May 28, 1931. She preceded him in death March 11, 1983. Mr. Seeley moved back to Cadillac from Detroit in October 1975. He was employed as a Comptroller at Hooker Chemical Corp. until his retirement Oct. 31, 1975. He was a member of Kiwanis, the Cadillac Club and the United Methodist Church of Cadillac. Survivors include his children, Ronald Seeley of Cadillac and Nancy (Mrs. John) Pamerleua of Grayling; his grandchildren, Heather Alford and Casey W. Alford of Grayling, and his brothers, Ed and Michael Seeley, both of Cadillac. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida, and a sister, Ora Childs. Services are 1 pm Friday at Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac, Rev. Allen McCreedy and Parish Assistant Mrs. Judy Coffey officiating. Visitation is 7-9 pm today and 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
