Wayne C. Seely. 60, of 1980 SR 41, Hillsboro died 12:30 p.m. Dec 31 at his residence.
Born Oct. 4, 1924 in Scioto County to Rossco and Abelene Davis Seely, he was a Marine veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Whitley, whom he married July 3, 1947; one daughter, Ruth Ford of Toledo; three sons, Wayne of Sylvania, James of Toledo and Bruce of Hillsboro; four brothers, Carl of Dayton, Richard and George of Greenfield, and Howard of Toledo; four sisters, Marlene Combs and Mildred Knisley of Greenfield, Helen Haas of Dayton and Hazel Carr of Washington C.H.; and eight grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith-Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge with Rev. Wayne Combs and Eli Keaton officiating. Burial will be Cynthiana Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
