Walter Kenneth Seely Sr., 74, of Salina, died December 17, 2009.
Mr. Seely was born October 1, 1935, the son of George Frank and Eve Louise (Parker) Seely, in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Walter was a Salina resident since 1987, coming from Lindsborg. He was a parts man at Long McArthur Ford.
Memberships include Trinity United Methodist Church and the American Legion of Lindsborg.
On July 11, 1992, he married Frances Stone in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives.
Survivors include wife, Frances, of the home; sons, Kenneth Seely, of McPherson, James Seely, of McPherson, and Roger Seely, of McPherson; daughter, Teresa Ferdinand, of Yelm, Washington; stepson, Martin Stone, of Coffeyville, Kan.; sister, Shirley Prestin, of Killeen, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be given to the Lindsborg Fire Department.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
