Virginia Mae Kent Seeley, 89, of Raleigh, died March 8, 2008.
Virginia was born October 16, 1918 in Ottumwa, IA. She married Richard S. Seeley and moved to Cedar Rapids, IA. Virginia and Dick later moved to St. Petersburg, FL and resided there for over 40 years before moving to Raleigh to be close to her family.
Virginia loved volunteering and will always be remembered as a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was predeceased in death by her husband and her son, Robert F. Seeley.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Ann Seeley; her three grandchildren, and their spouses, Tanya and Chris Eney, Stephanie and Eddie Hall and Nathan and Kelly Seeley. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service and interment will be in Ottumwa, IA.
