Mrs. Velma Victoria Seely, 84, of 1301 Cherry Ave., Yakima, died Friday in Summitview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Kansas City Mo., and lived in Arlington, Ore., for 40 years before moving to Yakima 11 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Arlington.

Mrs. Seely is survived by a son, Kenneth Seely, Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Copeland, Yakima, and Mrs. Evelyn Mellin, Queen Valley, Apache Junction, Ariz.; a brother, William Farmer, Oregon City, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pander, Portland, and Mrs. Gladys Siler, Canby, Ore.; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Arlington, Ore., cemetery.
