Tula Edith Seely

JERSEYVILLE – Mrs. Tula Edith Seely, 86, of 517 S. State St., Jerseyville, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Alton.

Mrs. Seely was born Nov. 9, 1881 at White Hall, the daughter of Joshua H. and Margaret M. Ballard Winters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harvey H. Seely, a sister, Mrs. Jettie Mashbarn and a brother, Meade Winters.

Surviving are a brother Carl A. Winters, Jerseyville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jacoby Funeral Home, Jerseyville. The Rev. M. Edwards Breed will officiate. Burial will be in White Hall Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
