Stephen A. Seely (1939 – 2011)

Stephen A. Seely, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.

He was born October 5, 1939, in the Town of Pine Grove, WI, the son of Jesse and Jessie (Phillips) Seely. He graduated from high school and in 1964, Stephen married Joyce Petermann. He worked at Speed Queen in Ripon for over 25 years. Stephen enjoyed bird watching and loved feeding the squirrels in his yard peanuts and bread. He was very adamant about keeping his yard clean and neat. Stephen made beautiful wood work and was very handy.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Ripon, WI; mother-in-law, Norma Petermann of Ripon and two nephews, Rheval “Val” Premeau and David Premeau both of Mukwonago, WI. Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Marvin and three sisters, Lorraine, Janice and Dolores.

Visitation for Stephen Seely will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011, from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Stephen Seely will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Cremation will take place following the funeral service.
