There will be a Private Graveside Service at the convenience of the family at the Evergreen Cemetery, Spencer. There will be no calling hours. Survived by 1 sister, Jeanette Young of Randolf, NY; 3 step-children, Edith Argyle of Elmira, Evangeline Elmore of Williamsville, NY, Carl Olson of Elmira; several step-grandchildren, including Edith Allen of Endicott; several nieces and nephews, including Jean Alve of Spencer. He worked at the former Eclipse Company in Elmira, member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Elmira and the Oddfellows Lodge in Elmira. The family suggests memorials to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Maple Avenue, Elmira. Arrangements by the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home, Spencer.
