SEELEY, ROBERT, 75, of Dahlia Dr., died Thursday in South County Hospital, South Kingstown. He was the devoted husband of Peggy A. (Barber) Seeley.
Born in Scranton, PA he was the son of Robert and Ruth E. (Amy) Seeley.
Mr. Seeley was a twenty three year veteran of The United States Navy.
He had been employed as a nuclear inspector with General Dynamics. Mr. Seeley was a member of The Fleet Reserve, and F & AM Washington Lodge. He was a wonderful man who loved his family.
He was the loving father of Barbara Seeley of Warwick, Debbie DeBellis of Cranston, and Heidi Singleton of North Kingstown; the beloved grandfather of Jessica Thomas, Robert and Christopher Seeley, Pasquale, Angela and Chelsea DeBellis, and James and Jayden Singleton; and the cherished great grandfather of David and Gianna Thomas. He was the father of the late Mary Sue Crossen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Frances de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial with military honors will follow in The Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to The North Kingstown Food Bank, 575 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852 would be appreciated.
