Robert E. Seeley Pearl Harbor Survivor, 89
Robert E. Seeley, age 89, passed away Feb. 4, 2010, at home following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Superior, Wisc. He had been a Joshua Tree resident since 1950.
Mr. Seeley was a U.S. Marine and survivor of Pearl Harbor.
Survivors include his son, Richard C. Seeley, his granddaughter, Ashley Seeley-Cox, his great-granddaughter Jordan Cox, his sister in-law, Bobby Shennum, and his niece, Patty Shennum.
There will be a military service at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 19 at Riverside National Cemetery at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Copper Mountain Mesa Community Center in Joshua Tree.
