Robert J. Seeley
Robert J. (Bobby) Seeley, 53, died Monday, August 13, 2007, at Charlotte, N.C. Visitation is Saturday, August 18th, 1:00 PM at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 621 Duling Street in Jackson, Miss. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Mark Seepe Funeral Directors & Crematorium in Jackson, Miss., is handling the arrangements. Bobby, son of Robert and JoAnne Dubose Seeley, was born November 18, 1953 in Laurel, Miss. He settled in the Brandon area before relocating to Charlotte, N.C. Bobby was an Eagle Scout and proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1971 until 1975, where he excelled in marksmanship & trained new recruits at Paris Island, S.C. While serving in the military he received many honors and awards. Bobby returned to college and graduated with honors from Holmes Community College. For the last 15 years he was employed by Getronics.
Survivors include: one son, Robert (Trey) Seeley; mother, JoAnne D. Smith; father, Robert C. (Linda) Seeley; sisters, Sheri M. Smith and Anne Dover, along with former wife and close friend, Mary Seeley.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. DuBose; father-in-law and best friend, Alfred (Smiley) Williams; and beloved son, Eric Seeley
