DELAWARE — Richard N. Seely 86, of Delaware, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was born May 17, 1932 in Powell to Leona (Stewart) and Fredrick Seely. He graduated from Powell High School in 1950 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Moose and Lifetime member of Am Vets. He loved fishing, boating, camping, die hard Browns fan, OSU fan, Reds, loved his dogs and was a loyal friend who was first to offer you a beer. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Union #200.
He is survived by his children, Belinda (Stephen) Thompson of Mount Vernon, Brian R. (Jennifer) Seely of Delaware and Beth (Gary) Richmond of Marysville; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, a sister, Nancy Vass of Richwood.
He was preceded in death by wives, Ruth Ellen Seely, Debbie Seely, brother Ab Seely and step-brother John Vass, granddaughter, Stephine Thompson-Sprang.
Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Robinson Funeral Home from 11am to 1pm where the service will follow at 1pm. Burial will follow in Jerome Cemetery with full military honors provided by Vietnam Veterans of America Post #1095.
