Richard M. Seeley, 65, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
A native of Portsmouth, he was born July 29, 1942, to the late James Seeley and Lydia Millison Seeley. Richard attended Bethel United Methodist Church and previously was employed by Vulcan Last, Midland Grocery and West End Furniture. He retired from Lewis Furniture.
He was veteran of the Ohio National Guard.
Richard is survived by his sister, Laura McCoy of Portsmouth; and several cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David James Seeley.
Funeral services will take place 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at F. C. Daehler Mortuary Co. in Portsmouth, with Pastor Rick Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be at Daehler’s on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
