Pearl Wayne Seeley, 75, of Kenton, formerly of Bellefontaine, died at 8:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
Visitation Friday, Jan. 13, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, and one hour prior to services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at First Church of God in Bellefontaine, Pastors Louie Pantelis and Ron Irick officiating.

Publication Wayne Seeley, 75, took his seat by the Master’s throne at 8:40 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006. Formerly of Bellefontaine, the Kenton resident passed away in Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born in Harrison Township, Logan County, on May 16, 1930, a son of the late Perley Ray and Esther Overholser Seeley.
On Sept. 11, 1955, he married the former Alice Jenkins in Bellefontaine and she preceded him in death Sept. 18, 2002.
He married the former Betty Risner in Ridgeway on Oct. 22, 2005, and she survives, along with sons, Timothy W. (Julie) Seeley of Fairlawn, John P. (Deborah) Seeley of Kenton, Thomas E. (Susan) Seeley of Zanesfield, Douglas (Myra) Risner of Belle Center and Randy (Sheryl) Risner of Bellefontaine; daughters Anna (Stanley) Dunaway of Rushsylvania and Sandy Fay of Belle Center; brothers, Ronald (Eileen) Seeley of Greenville, Tenn., Lloyd (Eileen) Seeley of Lakeview and James (Harriet) Seeley of Bellefontaine; a sister Lois Miller of West Liberty; grandchildren Cassundra Seeley, Elizabeth Seeley, Thomas Seeley, Amanda Miller, Kathleen Seeley, Sarah Seeley, Allison Dunaway, Alana Dunaway, Doug Risner, Doni Risner, Deanna (Mike) Seifker, Shawn Fay, Mindy (James) McGue, Danica Risner and MacKenzie Risner; and eight great-grandchildren.
A farmer and machinist for Rockwell International in Kenton, he was a very active member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine and the Ridgeway Church of God.
Wayne was a ready, willing and able tool in the hand of the Lord. A living example of the love of Jesus Christ, he spread job and laughter to everyone who came within range of his loving spirit. He also was associated with Gideons International.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he loved photography, pingpong and gardening, and had a sense of humor.
Pastors Louie Pantelis and Ronald Irick conduct a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine. Interment is in Huntsville Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center and one hour prior to the service at the church.
