Paula V. Seeley
Feb. 28, 1931 – June 17, 2006
Paula V. Seeley, 75, of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, in her home.
Paula was born on February 28, 1931, in Ninove, Belgium, to Roman and Victorine (D’Haeseleer) Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving Paula are her two daughters, Tina Jacobs of Mishawaka and Vickie (Donald) Penzenik of South Bend; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Penzenik of Chicago, IL, Steve Penzenik of South Bend, Michael Penzenik of South Bend and Rachel Jacobs of Mishawaka; and a great-grandchild, Nathan J. Penzenik of Chicago, IL.
Paula was a nurse at Memorial Hospital in South Bend for 19 years before she retired. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses of Mishawaka North. She enjoyed reading, her career in nursing, spending time with her family and friends, and she really enjoyed old movies.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., with Brother Jim Getz officiating.
