Nita M. Seeley

(1892- 1985)

HANCOCK – Nita M. Seeley, 93, formerly of Hancock, died Saturday morning in Janesville.

She was born Jan. 2, 1892, in the town of Deerfield, the daughter of Curtis and Adelaide Starks. She married Raymond Seeley Nov. 15, 1911, in Hancock. He died in June 1965.

Mrs. Seeley and her husband ran Seeley’s Jersey Dairy in Hancock for a number of years.

Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Parker, Janesville, and Ruth Stuessy, New Glarus; six grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Hamilton-Ayars Funeral Home, Hancock. Burial will be in North Deerfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from noon until the time of services.
