Mrs. Seeley Succumbs In Titusville

TOWNVILLE – Mrs. Myrtle B. Seeley, 74, of Centerville RD 4, widow of Walter Seeley, died Tuesday evening in Titusville Hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Titusville September 17, 1889, a daughter of William and Ethel Cheney Marsh.

Mrs. Seeley was employed at Talon, Inc., in Meadville for 17 years before she retired.

She was a member of the Troy Center United Methodist Church and the Women’s Society of the church, a member of the Troy Center Grange and a member of the Sadie Rebekah Lodge of Townville.

She is survived by a son, William Seeley of Centerville RD4; two daughters, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Rea and Mrs. Betty Lewallen of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Zella) Covill of Franklin; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home in Townville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today and attend funeral service there at 2 pm Friday. Rev. James Murray, pastor of the Troy Center United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Interment will be in the Troy Center Cemetery.

The funeral service for Myrtle B. Seeley was held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home in Townville with Rev. James Murray, pastor of the Troy Center United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment was in Troy Center Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Theodore Bunce, Howard Bunce, Park Steadman, John Lingo, Earl Yochum and Clyde Hasbrouck.

The Sadie Rebekah Lodge of Townville called in a group at the funeral home Thursday evening.
