Mildred C. Seely

Mildred C. Seely (nee Ignelzi) of Steger died Oct. 5 at VITAS Hospice at St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights.

Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Smits Funeral Homes –Steger Memorial Chapel. An 11:30 a.m. service is Monday at St. Liborius Church in Steger. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.

Mrs. Seely was born Oct. 28, 1914, in Chicago Heights. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Vernon) Thiel of Frankfort; and son Donald (Peggy) of Georgia; a sister Mary Reimen of Chicago Heights; brother Louis Ignelzi of Sycamore; and four grandchildren. Her husband Merhle died in 1992.
