Michael R. Seeley

(1908- 1976)

DOWAGIAC – Michael R. Seeley, 67, Route 4, Dowagiac, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lee Memorial hospital, Dowagiac, following an illness of two months.

Mr. Seeley was born Dec. 10, 1908, in Park county, Ind., and came to the Dowagiac area in 1928, from Montezuma, Ind. He retired in 1972 from Bendix Corporation. Mr. Seeley was a member of Grace United Methodist church, South Bend, and the Order of Eastern Star chapter No. 2.

Surviving are his widow, the former Dorothy Nelson; two sons, Robert, St. Joseph and Richard, South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. James Altic, Eau Claire; two brothers, Glenn and Harold, both of South Bend and two sisters, Mrs. Richard Morton, Montezuma and Mrs. Fred Bailey, Jacksonville, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer funeral home, 521 North Williams, South Bend, where friends may call. Masonic rites will be held at 7:30 this evening in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the church or to the Kidney Foundation.
