Michael James Seeley
COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Michael James Seeley, 53, will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Reverend David Braxton. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Seeley passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012. Born in San Antonio, TX, he was a son of the late John Paul Seeley and Bridget Welsh Seeley. He attended Shannon United Methodist Church. Mr. Seeley worked in the South Carolina Archives. He was a published photographer; an award winning artist; and was a great father.
Surviving is: his step-daughter, Sherri Braxton (Rev. David) of Ferrum, VA; son, John Michael Seeley of Batesburg; and a sister, Sheri Wells of Tallahassee, FL; and Toni Aversa, mother of his son. Family and friends may sign the on line guest book at: www.thompsonsfuneral.com
