Maxine Iris Seeley

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, in the Portland home of Maxine Iris Seeley, who died Sept. 5 at age 89.

Maxine Snell was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Eugene, where she was raised. She moved to Vancouver, where she worked in the shipyards during World War II. She moved to Portland and worked in the family appliance business. In 1944, she married David D.; he died in 1985.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Morgan; son, David D. Jr.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Remembrances to the Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Arrangements by Autumn.
