MAX DEVON SEELEY, 70, of Hernando, retired truck driver, died Thursday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hernando Funeral Home with burial in Oakgrove Cemetery in Hernando. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a Korean War veteran. Mr. Seeley, the husband of Shirley Seeley, also leaves four daughters, Patricia Murphy, Janet Gehring and Debra Steward, all of Hernando, and Lisa Olivent of Horn Lake; two sons, Joel Seeley of Barstow, Calif., and Jeffery Seeley of Hernando; his mother, Gladys Jones Seeley; two sisters, Margaret Stewart and Joyce Halfacre, both of Jackson, Tenn., and 15 grandchildren.
