SEELEY, Maryanne Kissel (AKA Najiba David) – Age 76, of Flint, died Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, September 2, 2000 at the Sharp Funeral and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint (just south of Hill Rd.), Deacon Ronald Rowe officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home today 2-5 and 7-9PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Lupus Foundation. She was born July 26, 1924 in Mosul Iraq, the daughter of Anter and Asyet David and lived in Flint most of her life. Surviving are: son, Thomas Norman Kissel of Fenton; 2 grandchildren, Andrea Wilcox of Grand Blanc and Blair and wife Ellen Kissel of Fenton; 6 great-grandchildren, Erin, Erica, Allyse, Ethan, Evan, and Alex; brothers and sisters, George and wife Myra David and Marie Simon all of California, Joseph and wife Elizabeth David and Helen Powers all of Illinois, and Martha and husband Keith Mattern of Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack (Najib) David. A special thanks to friends Carol and Janet and all the other special people who helped her in her time of need.
