MRS. W.E. SEELY OF VINTON DIES AT 60

Vinton, Ia – Mrs. W.E. Seely, 80, died Friday night at her home in Taylor township of a cerebral hemorrhage. Born July 25, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Powers, near Newhall, Ia; married Sept. 15, 1903 to W.E. Seely at Vinton.

Survived by husband, three daughters, Mrs. Leon Meredith, Mrs. Roger Cummings and Wilma Seely, and a son, Floyd S., all of Vinton; six grandchildren; three brothers, Lester and Earl Powers, Vinton, and Myrl, Dysart, Ia. Funeral Monday at 2 p.m. at Fry & Holland funeral home with Rev. William Caldwell officiating; burial at Evergreen cemetery.
