Mrs. Mary Allene Bruce Seeley, 79, of 848 Rebecca St., formerly of the 3500 block of Bapaume Ave. in Norfolk, died Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. in Southampton Memorial Hospital. She lived here for two years.
She was the widow of John Silas Seeley. She was a member of Fairmount Park Free Will Baptist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. L.D. Lowe and Mrs. M.T. Lowe of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Glendola Sykes of Norfolk and Mrs. Emily Bruce of Pasadena, Calif., three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Norfolk, by the Rev. A.B. Brown. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home today from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
