Schoolteacher’s Assistant, 87
Marjorie H. Seeley, a lifelong resident of California and an 18-year resident of Joshua Tree, died at home May 7, 2005. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Iowa Jan. 16, 1918, to Harold Hook and Leola Young.
Mrs. Seeley was a teacher’s assistant and took care of attendance at Colton Junior High School for 18 years before she retired, and was a charter member of the Copper Mountain Mesa Association.
She was married to Robert Seeley for 63 years.
Mrs. Seeley is survived by husband Robert Seeley, son Richard Seeley of Joshua Tree, sister Mary Moore of Tarzana and granddaughter Ashley Seeley of Highland.
