Margaret Joan Seeley, 78, Mechanicsville
Margaret Joan Seeley, 78, of Mechanicsville died March 7, 2010, at Washington Hospital Center.
Born June 16, 1931, in Christ Church, England, she was the daughter of Percy Seaton and Gertrude Alice Drew Seaton.
She was the wife of Joseph Duane Seeley. They had been married for more than 54 years.
She enjoyed painting, dress making, making porcelain dolls and doing aquatic exercises.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ian Seeley.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Timothy Seeley and his wife, Alicia Delahunty, of Bethesda and Chris Seeley and wife, Valerie, of New Market, England; her daughter, Nicky Mormino and her husband, Joe, of Napoli, Italy; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Seeley of Prince Frederick; a sister, Tricia Bowen-Jones and her husband, David Bowen- Jones, of Corsham, England; and three grandchildren, Emily Seeley, Brandon Seeley and Benedict Seeley.
Private funeral services are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall.
