Margaret J. Seeley
CADILLAC – Margaret J. Seeley of Traverse City, formerly of Cadillac, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was 53.
She was born in Cadillac to Edward G. and Peggy Jean (Ferguson) Seeley.
Margaret was a woman of strong faith and had volunteered at several churches in the Cadillac and Traverse City areas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her children, Eric Ohman and Amanda (Mike) Schepers, all of LeRoy, and Eva (Howard) Nodine of Lafayette, Ind.; grandchildren, Earl, Alex, Tim and Caitlyn; great-grandchild, Olivia; brothers, Edward P. (Sherry) Seeley of Cadillac and George H. (Karen) Seeley of Chesaning; a sister, Linda Ramacker of Cadillac; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward G. Seeley in 2006; her mother, Peggy J. Seeley in 2007; a brother, Robert J. Seeley in 1999 and a sister, Mary Compagnari in 2008.
A private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Traverse City Women’s Resource Center.
Arrangements were made by the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac.
