Mabel Catherine (Wolfe) Seeley (1921 – 2015)

Mabel Catherine Seeley, age 94, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, as a resident of the McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA.

She was born on April 14, 1921, to the late Calvin and Anna Rebecca (Thompson) Wolfe, in Knoxdale, PA. On April 2, 1946, she married John S. Seeley, in DuBois, PA. They were married for almost 66 years before John passed away on February 15, 2012, when he was 95 years old.

She loved being a homemaker for John throughout their marriage.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Thomas Wolfe; and 2 sisters, Alice Straitwell, and Lula Cochran.

According to her wishes, a private graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Knoxdale, PA. Funeral arrangements were handled by the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Brookville, PA, 15825.
