Lucy D. Seeley

(1885- 1976)

Lucy D. Seeley, 90, of Williamsburg died Wednesday evening at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility after a short illness.

The daughter of Wellington and Susan Stites, she was born at Acme on June 19, 1885, and was a Williamsburg area resident all her life. She was united in marriage to Damon Seeley on Dec. 25, 1901, at Traverse City.

Mrs. Seeley was a member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church.

Her husband, three sons, five sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E.E. (DeVere) Van Stee of Boulder, Colo.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Green of Detroit.

The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Williamsburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Raymond Roe officiating. Burial will be in Williamsburg cemetery.

Friends may call at Reynold-Hanson Funeral Home until Saturday morning when she will be taken to the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Williamsburg United Methodist Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
