Louis Seely Rites Held Wednesday Afternoon

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Fiddletown, with interment in the cemetery there for Louis Seely, 65, a native of El Dorado County, who died recently at a hospital in Jackson.

Mr. Seely was a former owner and operator of a passenger bus line between Jackson and Sacramento.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Irene Miller, of Plymouth, six grandchildren and a niece and a nephew.

Louis Seeley Called By Death at Hospital

Following a prolonged illness death claimed the life of Louis Seeley of Plymouth, who passed away at the hospital in this city on May 17.  Mr. Seeley was a native of El Dorado county where he was born sixty-five years ago, but the greater portion of his lifetime had been spent in the Plymouth district.  For many years he conducted a passenger service between that place and Sacramento and following retirement from that work had been engaged in various occupations.  In recent years he had assisted at the Kay Resort at Silver Lake during the summer season.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Irene Miller of Plymouth, six grandchildren and a niece and nephew to mourn his passing.

The funeral was conducted on Wednesday afternoon from the mortuary of J.J. Daneri and Son in this city thence to Fiddletown where interment occurred.  Graveside services were conducted at Fiddletown.  Rev. Alber E. Raugust officiating.
