Linda M. Seely died unexpectedly at her home in Johnston Thursday, September 15, 2016. Linda’s family will receive friends 4-7 pm Friday, September 23, 2016 at Iles Westover Chapel. A graveside service will take place 10 am, Saturday, September 24th at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Linda was born June 27, 1944 in Des Moines to Cecil and Ardath (Schaff) Clark. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Drake University to study music. Linda worked as a paralegal in Des Moines, retiring from the Flagg Law Firm in 2012. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Hope. Linda loved music and was patron of the Des Moines Symphony for over 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin; children: Stephanie (Steve) Paquin of Minneapolis, MN, Mark Boggs of St. George, UT, Michael (Traci) Seely of Katy, TX, Matthew (Ginger) Seely of Bryan, TX; grandchildren: Miles, Simon, Ella, Maxwell, Jessica, Thomas; sister, Mary (Larry) Goode of Norwalk; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of Hope, the Des Moines Symphony or the Salvation Army.
