L.A. Seely Died at Age of Ninety-Two
Funeral Services to Be From Wheeling Christian Church
L.A. Seely, 92 years old, for seventy years a resident of Wheeling and nearby community, died at his home in Wheeling Sunday afternoon at two o’clock. Funeral services will be held from the Christian church at that place Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment in Wheeling cemetery.
Mr. Seely was a native of Connecticut, having been born at Norwalk, May 17, 1847. He came to Wheeling township when 22 years of age and had resided there since.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Seely, two sons, M.L. Seely of Salina, Kas., and Eldon Seely of the home; one niece, Mrs. Emma Belshe of Kansas City and three grandchildren, Dorothy, Bobby and Mary Louise Seely.
