TUPELO – Johnny Harold Seely, 71, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born May 12, 1936, in Hamilton to Kirby Wilson Seely and Mattie Irene McDuffa Seely. He was a graduate of Hamilton School and a self-employed business person. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He had lived in Tupelo for the past four years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Hoyt Seely of Tupelo; one daughter, Karen Seely of Tupelo; one grandson, John R. Seely.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joan Seely.
Pallbearers will be Mike Edlemon, Robert Gerhart, Jimmy Pounders, Arnold McDuffie, H.R. Seely and Jim Nolen.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
