JoAnn (Linzy) Seeley, 55, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, died April 12, 2006 at home.

Services will be Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of the Living God in Shawnee. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Ingram & Pastor Keith Ward. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery

Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is in charge of arrangements.

JoAnn was born April 7, 1951 in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma to Rev. Jack T. & Evelyn (McAnally) Linzy. She was born & raised in Ft. Gibson, she later moved to Holdenville, where she graduated from high school in 1969. She went on to graduate from Seminole Junior College in 1976. She has lived her entire adult life in Bethel Acres. On October 18, 1969 she married Joe Seeley in Holdenville. She worked as a registered nurse at Mission Hill Hospital, Shawnee Medical Center, Prague Hospital, Shawnee Care Center, and the Department of Human Services. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Living God. She enjoyed following her children’s school activities and spending time with friends and family. She was a excellent cook and seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. Jack T. & Evelyn Linzy, and her father-in-law: Joe Seeley, Sr.

Survivors include her husband: Joe Seeley of the home, daughter & son-in-Law: Jadrea & Scott Prater of Bethel Acres, son, Jason Seeley of Shawnee brother, Jack R. Linzy of Muskogee, brothers & sisters-in-Law: Truby & Gary DeShields of Atwood, Bob & Delane Seeley of Byng, Carol Snyder of Moore, and Angie Seeley of Sulphur, mother-in-law: Iree Seeley of Sulphur.
