JEROME JOHN SEELEY

Jerome John Seeley, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Seeley, well known local residents, died at the family home, 1103 Lincoln, Sunday morning following injuries received Friday while mowing on the Storrie project. Jerome was kicked by a horse, the blow striking him in the abdomen, causing injuries that resulted in death Sunday.

Jerome John is survived by his parents, three brothers Reynolds and Victor, Las Vegas, and Truxton, Randolph Field, Texas; two sisters, Eugenia and Adria, Las Vegas.

Jerome John came to Las Vegas nine years ago with his parents and has made his home in Las Vegas since attending the New Mexico Normal University this last year, and had gone to work during the summer vacation when injured. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the chapel of the Nolan Funeral Home with Daniel Firth of Pueblo, Colo., officiating at the burial service. Interment will be in the family plot in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
