Northwood – Jane T. Seeley, 80, of Northwood and formerly of Walbridge, died Friday (Dec. 5, 2003) at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Mrs. Seeley retired from teaching English at Lemoyne School and later Lake High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oregon. Born July 11, 1923 in Rome, N.Y., to Dale and Marie (Gallagher) Tyron, she married Joseph W. Seeley on Sept. 11, 1944. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Janine M. Smothers, Northwood; a brother, Larry, and a sister, Marjorie King, both of Windsor, Conn.; and a grandson, David J. Smothers, Northwood.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Walbridge. Memorials may be made to the church or to Hospice.
