JANE M. SEELEY HOTEL, RESTAURANT OWNER

Jane M. Seeley, 79, Route 11, died Sunday at Michaud Nursing Home, Fulton.

Mrs. Seeley operated the Redfield Hotel from 1944 to 1946 and co-owned and operated Seeley’s Restaurant from 1947 to 1985.

Born Sept. 4, 1920, in Redfield, she was a daughter of Claude V. and Nellie Mae McCaw Ballou.

She married John H. Seeley on April 14, 1941, in Alexandria, Va. Mr. Seeley died March 15, 1973.

Mrs. Seeley was a former member of Redfield Community Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Patsy A. Doyle, Oswego, and Suzanne C. Anderson, Clifton Park; a son, John C., Pulaski; two sisters, Vivian Hornsby, Lakeland, Fla., and Maureen Joralemon, Ravena; a brother, Vance Ballou, Little Falls, and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Park United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
