Informal Wedding Held At Ponder

Ponder, Aug. 5 – Marriage vows were repeated by Miss Patsy Faye Pope and James Thomas Seely during a ceremony performed recently by Rev. Roy Bunch, pastor of the Ponder Baptist Church, who officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a navy blue dress of dotted Swiss material and wore white accessories and an orchid corsage. She was attended by Miss Gay Wynell Parr of Justin who wore a dress of white brocade with a corsage of pink carnations.

Mike Pope, Jr., brother of the bride served the bridegroom as best man.

After a shore wedding trip the couple will make their home in Justin.

Preceding the wedding the couple was honored with a miscellaneous shower in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Layne Wilkerson. Punch and cookies were served buffet style to about 80 guests.
