James L. “Jim” Seely, age 71, of Crete, passed away February 9, 2012 at home.
Born November 7, 1940 to Perry and Eva Seely.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerome and Perry, Jr.; sister, Georgia; parents-in-law, Judith and Delbert Kingery; brother-in-law, Tom Boyle.
Survivors: wife, Jo of Crete. Children: Mark Seely and friend Khristyanna Wood of Lynnwood, Wash., Craig Seely and wife Rebecca of Dorchester, Vicki Seely of Minneapolis. Grandchildren: Theodore Martinez, Tai Garrett, Aliah West, and baby on the way, Myles Seely. Sister, Bette Boyle of Grand Island. Brother-in-law and spouse, John and Melody Gillispie of Georgetown, Texas; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete. Family requests casual attire. Cremation; no visitation. Memorials in care of the family.
