Irene B. Of VanEtten, NY Age 84, died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Tioga Nursing Facility in Waverly, NY. She was born in VanEtten, NY, September 9, 1916, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith (Earl) Decker. She was predeceased by her husband, William D. Seeley in 1998. Irene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Carole Seeley, Dallas, Texas; two grandsons, Trevor and Brent Seeley, Dallas, Texas; many nieces and nephews. Irene retired as Postmaster of Spencer after 27 years of service. She was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Candor and The Eastern Star Spencer Chapter #549. Friends may call at the Allan-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer on Friday, February 2nd from 7 to 9 PM. An Eastern Star service will be held at 8PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 3rd at 11 AM at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Candor with Rev. Lewis E. Coffin officiating. Interment will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
