Ila May Sealy
Ila May Sealy, age 83, passed away December 25, 2013 in Lansing, MI. She was born March 17, 1930 in Lansing, MI, daughter of the Jay C. and Myrna I. (Mingus) Martin. Ila was a former employee of Michigan National Bank. She loved to play golf and dance and go to the casino to play the slot machines. But her most favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, visiting and playing penny ante poker. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her three daughters: Darlene (William) Graham, Kristie Fleckenstein, and Teri McCowan; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John L Sealy. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Pastor Richard McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Delta Center Cemetery, Delta Twp., Eaton Co. Visitations will be held Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Volunteers of America Veterans Shelter.
