Henry “Hank” C. Seely, 91, crossed the finish line Friday, July 3, 2009.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Hank was born July 29, 1917.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lotus; his parents; and seven siblings.
Survivors: Wife and friend of many years, Margaret Nunley Seely; daughters, Bobbie Hudson and husband, Gene, Carmen McMurrey and husband, Roy, Esta Betts and husband, David; ex-son-in-law, Bill Stockton; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Seely; and many nieces and nephews who claim him as their “favorite uncle.”
