Helen Marie Seely, age 68, died on August 21, 2007 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was a native of Texas and a resident of Ponchatoula. Mrs. Seely was a Ward Secretary at the former Westpark Community Hospital. Survivors include her 3 children, Eva Buckland, Ponchatoula, Scarlett (and Mark Rock) Hamilton, Robert, and Parrish Seely, Ponchatoula; 4 grandchildren, Amanda (David) Cappel, Jeremy Hamilton, Tara Buckland, and Cordell Seely; great-grandson, Christian Cappel; and former husband, Raymond Seely, Ponchatoula. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Camille Bancroft Lawrence. Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Friday, August 24, 2007 from 6 until 9 pm and on Saturday after 8:30 am until the religious service at 10 am. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans.
