Harry W. Seeley, Sr.

Harry W. Seeley, Sr., 69, died unexpectedly Monday (July 23, 1956) while at work for the State Highway Department in East Lake Rd. He had resided at Bristol Valley Rd., Holcomb RD 1.

Mr. Seeley was born in Knoxville, Pa., Nov. 8, 1886, and had been a resident of the Bristol Valley area for 30 years. He had been employed by the highway department for 10 years.

He was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church and for 38 years a member of the Knoxville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife Mrs. Grace McIntyre Seeley, a son, Harry Seeley Jr., of Holcomb; a step son, Leon E. Thomas of Holcomb; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Haaf of Rochester; five grandchildren, two brothers, Clifford and Claude, both of Knoxville, Pa.

Friends may call at the Kennedy Funeral Home today from 7 to 3 p.m., and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Ellroy D. Van Dyke, D.D., pastor of the Methodist Church will officiate. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral chapel Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol.

Grace B. Seeley of Holcomb was named executrix of the estate of her husband, the late Harry W. Seeley, Sr., who died July 23. The estate is valued at $43,000. Mrs. Seeley was named sole legatee of the estate which included $10,000 in real property.
