Harold L. “Pete” Seely, 75, of Cowden, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home, Cowden. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Cowden.

World War II Army veteran. Member: Roy Vanderpool American Legion Post 81 and VFW Post 4829, both of Shelbyville. Survivors: wife, Margie; son, Marke “Pea Dad” Seely, Shelbyville; daughters, Debi Seely and Terre Bethe Moffett, both of Cowden; brothers, Dean Seely, Decatur; Jack Seely, Lakewood; Jerry Seely, Raymond; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Preceded by: parents.
